DESCRIPTION:We’ve got Caylan Daughrity at The LogOn! He’s sharing the stage with Barbara Hickey & Jerry Mullin!\n\n\n\nBarbara Hickey started playing guitar when she was 19 years old but her passion for music started long before then. Her fondest childhood memories are of her sitting on her grandparents living room floor\, listening to her grandfather play guitar and sing. Later in life\, her cousin would introduce her to rock bands such as Rush\, Boston\, Van Halen\, Pink Floyd and many more. These influences can be heard on her first album “What I Am” which was recorded at 4eyes Studios in Beaumont\, Texas (2015). There is a link in the menu that will take you to the What I am page.  There\, you can read about what inspired the lyrics behind that album.  \n\n\n\n     Barbara’s second album “Peace of Mind” is complete with a releae date of May 20th\, 2022.  Some of the top musicians Southeast Texas has to offer recorded on this album.  The lyrical content reflects Barbara’s rededication to the Christian faith. She sticks to her rock roots\, but a touch of country can be heard in some of the songs.
