Sonny & Cher. Donny & Marie. Beavis & Butthead. Nick & Joel. They ALL rocked your television sets, but only one of those notorious TV power-duos has had the balls to tour through Beaumont on an almost annual basis. Over the course of their long and sordid career, Nick Liberatore and Joel Rutkowski (AKA Elemenopy and/or WHAT’S THAT NOISE) have starred in Comedy Central’s series The Comedy Jam, they have sailed international waters with The Impractical Jokers on their official cruise, they have rocked Madison Square Garden with Bill Burr, they have performed onstage with everyone from Richie Sambora to Coolio, from Rob Halford to Kenny Loggins, from DMX to Sebastian Back, AND they have been known to shamelessly name-drop all over their Facebook event invitations. TRUE STORY. But hey, flashy resume aside, anyone who’s caught their previous Beaumont appearances knows that Elemenopy brings an unpredictable show full of face-melting rock, inventive and unexpected mash-ups, the ILLest beastie boy tribute you can find (with or without a license), and a fun and irreverent night full of surprises. Put it this way: the last time Elemenopy was in Texas they ended up in an after hours impromptu jam session with a very drunk and stoned Dave Chapelle. Now, no one is saying that Dave is necessarily going to show up at The Logon on March 26th or anything, but hey, can you really afford to take the chance by missing this show? Come join the party and make some memories, y’all!
