BEAUMONT- On August 7th, Dr. Amanda Adams, Director of Research Coordination of Bat Conservation International is slated to present at the Logon Cafe.
Bat Conservation International (BCI) is an international nongovernmental organization working to conserve bats and their habitats through conservation, education, and research efforts.
Since its establishment in 1982, BCI has formed strong partnerships and produced publications, workshops, scholarships, and research, and site-specific projects in the US and internationally. The non-profit employs a staff of 30 and has members in 60 countries.
Dr. Amanda Adams is currently conducting research in the Big Thicket National Preserve and is lodging in the Big Thicket Field Research Station and Learning Center in Saratoga managed by the Big Thicket Association. She will be featured on Monday, August 7, from 7-8 PM at the Logon Café, 3805 Calder Avenue.
