Who We Are
If you couldn’t tell by the big ass banner at the top of the page, we’re Pug Johnson and The Hounds. We hail from Southeast Texas, and the blend of music that we play reflects that. I write songs and tell stories about my misadventures in hopes of contributing to the lineage of American music. Many of the images on this site are taken from the home I share with my wife, Mindy and our two spoiled pups: Riley and Dixie. Come in, kick your shoes off, and stay awhile.
